The ChemConnect dispenser delivers clean, healthy pool water as the dispenser provides a stable level of chlorine, which is necessary for proper chemical balance. The pre-filter basket is an additional filtration mechanism that captures larger particles such as leaves, hair, and dirt. It also protects the pump impeller and ensures that the pump runs continuously more smoothly. This filter pump has a 6-position valve that can be adjusted in different settings to filter, close (stop water flow), flush back (clean the sand bed), flush (for initial start-up, cleaning and sand bed leveling), drain water from the pool and circulate the pool water.
