Best root development and significantly improved water and nutrient supply thanks to the special COMPO root activator. Instructions for use: Ready-to-use growing medium for potting and repotting all green plants and palms, except for seedlings, bog plants (rhododendrons, camellias, azaleas), and orchids. After approximately 12 weeks, additional fertilization is necessary. It is generally recommended to loosen the potting soil slightly before use to eliminate any clumps or compaction. 1. Create a good foundation. Use a planting container with drainage holes and cover them with a piece of broken clay pot. When repotting a plant, always use a significantly larger container than before. Ensure good drainage to prevent waterlogging and root rot. We recommend first filling the planting container 1/4 to 1/3 full with COMPO BIO GRANUPLANT® drainage and planting granules. Then add the COMPO SANA® potting soil to the container. 2. Place your plant in the container. Remove old soil and any dead roots, and place the plant with its root ball into the planting container. Fill with soil to approximately 1 cm below the rim and press down lightly. 3. Watering: Form a watering rim around the plant and then water the plant thoroughly. Tip: When to repot? Well-growing houseplants should be moved to a larger container when the pot is well-rooted, approximately every 1-2 years. Houseplants thrive best when protected from direct sunlight. Many potted plants prefer bottom watering via saucers or cachepots filled with room-temperature water. If the soil becomes too moist, faster evaporation and drying can be achieved by raking and lightly sanding the surface. Application period: March to October. Active ingredients: Growing medium under water.
