Es kann auch als Zaun an Vogelkäfigen, Kaninchen- oder Hühnerkäfigen, sowie für alle Arten von Heimwerkeranwendungen und sogar als Lampenschirm verwendet werden. Aus starkem und robustem Fiberglas gefertigt, ist das Fliegennetz rostbeständig und wird nicht durchhängen. Das Maschengitter kann mit einfachen Schneidwerkzeugen leicht auf die gewünschte Größe zugeschnitten werden.
