Hellboy - Abe Sapien 5 Star 4" Vinyl Figure (2019 Summer Convention Exclusive) With the freezing temperatures of the Australian Winter in full force, it’s time to turn up the heat with Funko’s incredible new range of 2019 Summer Convention Exclusives Launching in 1993, Hellboy comics has developed an enormous cult following that has seen it spawn various films, video games and more. The story follows the life of Hellboy, a well-meaning demon who was summoned from Hell to Earth as a "baby" demon by Nazi occultists (spawning his hatred for Nazis). He was discovered by the Allied Forces; amongst them, Professor Trevor Bruttenholm, who formed the United States Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (BPRD). Although a bit gruff, Hellboy shows none of the malevolence thought to be intrinsic to demons, and has an ironic sense of humour. This is said to be because of his upbringing under Professor Bruttenholm, who raised him as a normal boy. Standing 10cm tall, this 5-Star Figure features the Ichthyo sapien, Abe Sapien, who has the ability to breathe underwater and swim at a great speed. He comes complete with his weapon accessories.
