Description
Restriction for plant protection products (PPPs):P SM may only be applied to open land if it is used for agriculture, forestry or horticulture. For applications on other areas (so-called non-cultivated land such as courtyards, garage entrances, sidewalks) or for paved areas, you need an exemption from the plant protection service responsible for you (§ 12 para. 2 PflSchG). Product description:The caterpillar and ant glue ring with special glue made of natural resins and waxes protects your fruit and ornamental shrubs against pests that crawl up the trunk. The special glue is not washed off and does not drip off even at high temperatures. Application:for: fruit trees, ornamental shrubsagainst: pests, mealybugs, aphids, blood lice, antsProperties:for year-round protection against harmful insects that crawl up trunks ideal for warding off frost moth caterpillars and other harmful caterpillars that lay their eggs in the crowns excellent protection against ants, aphids and blood lice ("mealybugs") with insecticide-free special glue made of natural resins and waxes that neither dries out nor washes off as far as possible Gentle on beneficial insects thanks to green paper, effective for several monthsInstructions for use:Application against frost moth caterpillars and other pest caterpillars: Frost caterpillars damage fruit and ornamental trees by eating leaves and fruits. From the end of September, the flightless females of the frost moth climb into the treetop to lay eggs. The caterpillar and ant glue ring effectively prevents egg laying. Application against ants and aphids: Ants maintain aphid colonies by defending the aphids against their natural enemies such as ladybirds. Especially on fruit and ornamental trees, ants are often found that migrate from the ground to the aphids in the treetop. By applying the caterpillar and ant glue ring, the "ant paths" can be effectively interrupted so that the natural enemies of the aphids can work unhindered. If the ants try to build "bridges" over the glue ring with the help of leaves, small twigs, etc., these must be removed. Application against blood lice (mealybugs) on apple trees: Blood lice are common pests on apple trees. Due to their wool excretions, they look similar to mealybugs. Blood lice migrate to the root area of the plant in autumn. In spring, the branches will be repopulated from there. The caterpillar and ant glue ring effectively prevents the blood lice from migrating, so that new infestation is significantly reduced. Measure the length of the glue ring according to the trunk circumference (plus 3 cm overlap) and cut off. Pull the glue ring apart and place it around the trunk with the glue layer facing outwards. For trees with very coarse bark, the depressions should first be closed with Lauril Tree Wax from Neudorff. This prevents the pests from infiltrating the glue ring. With the enclosed wire, tie the glue strip tightly around the trunk above and below the glue layer (must fit tightly
). Any existing tree stake (tree support) must also be provided with a glue strip. The installation takes place below the tree connection at a height of approx. 50 cm. The green color of the caterpillar and ant glue ring spares beneficial insects as much as possible.
