This kit from Peco builds into a 15ft wheelbase pallet van based on a BR design of ‘sliding wall van’ which has 2 sliding doors each side. The real things were used to palletised loads, and the sliding doors allowed easy access to entire floor space. One door would be slid open to give access to one end of the vehicle, and then it would be closed and the other door slid open to give access to the other end. In common with the other Peco N gauge wagon kits, everything is included except glue, paint and transfers. The body is one-piece (sorry no working doors ), as is the chassis block, making for quick assembly for which instructions are included. A suitable glue is DLAD-24 Plastic Magic. For paint choose either BR bauxite (RM1235 spray can, RM235 for brush application), BR late freight grey (RM309 for brush application), or one of the many authentic rail colours from Railmatch to suit your chosen prototype.
