This brass / stainless steel thermostatic cartridge uses a wax element which is manufactured by Vernet in France. This fits into some many diverter mixer sets and can act as a replacement for thermostatic valves which have stopped working. They are often used on steam showers. Further to showers, this cartridge is also used on mixer valves used on baths.The top spline has 24 teeth and the second toothed spline has 60 teeth.Please note, this thermostatic cartridge comes in both a brass gold and a silver colour, however both are to the same specifications and operate exactly the same.
