A Minerva exclusive, this gorgeous design is printed onto a beautiful quality scuba knit fabric. Scuba is a thick, double faced knit fabric that has structure and bounce that can be used to hold the shape of a garment.This fabric is resistant to creasing and is very comfortable to wear. It is made from 95% polyester and 5% spandex which gives it a 40% stretch across the width (from selvedge to selvedge) and a 30% stretch down the length of the fabric.The stretch in this fabric makes it the perfect choice for tops, skirts and dresses. It is also ideal for sewing leggings and sportswear. At 260 grams per square metre, this fabric is classed as a medium to heavy weight. It is opaque and should not require lining, even on lighter colours. We recommend sewing this fabric with a new stretch needle for best results.
