Each hinge is a single piece extruded from high-impact acrylic and a urethane elastomer. A thin flexible section joins two rigid sections, so the hinge opens and closes without a pin and can close fully. Peel off the backing and press the hinge onto a clean surface; the pressure-sensitive tape bonds on contact, so no glue is needed. The tape resists moisture and UV light. The slim, low-profile hinges have a long flex life and suit lids, covers and cases. Fit them flat across the joint; where a hinge wraps around a 90-degree corner, use a hasp or lock to hold the lid.
