The 200 mm length is useful where only a short non-metallic threaded section is needed, such as small stand-offs, short spacers, enclosure work or light alignment tasks. PTFE brings low friction, electrical insulation and broad chemical compatibility, while remaining softer and less rigid than metal. The rods can be trimmed if a shorter length is required.
