BP5: For lightweight shelves, display cases and 90-degree corner joins; acrylic is about half the weight of glass and much more impact resistant. || PRODUCT DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: Four clear angled L brackets in acrylic / polycarbonate, 70 x 30 x 30 mm and 5 mm thick, with translucent double-sided tape pre-applied on the rear face. Each bracket is one piece, with a polished gloss finish and no seams. The brackets join and reinforce corners where two parts meet at a right angle, and fix panels to a wall or to the back of a cupboard or cabinet. To fit, peel off the liner and press the bracket firmly onto a clean surface; the tape bonds on contact, so no drilling is needed. Acrylic and polycarbonate are similar plastics, used interchangeably: acrylic gives good strength and UV resistance, polycarbonate higher impact and heat resistance. Acrylic is about half the weight of glass and much more impact resistant.
