Place the prepared pot over a lit campfire and boil water in it for approximately 30 minutes. This step is essential to protect it from rusting. CLEANING – Due to its cast iron construction, use only water for cleaning. MAINTENANCE – To extend the pot's lifespan, apply a thin layer of oil inside and outside after each cleaning.
