The crown is spherical. The lower branches are strongly branched, rising; carry numerous young felt-pubescent whitish-grayish shoots. The root system is rod, ligneous, branched in the upper part. When blooming, the leaves are felt-pubescent, grayish-green in color, later become naked and green. Flowers are false whorls of 6-10 pieces, collected in loose or dense apical spike-shaped inflorescences. Corolla obscurely two-lipped, bluish-purple in color, with large lobes.
