HOLOFIL-cardboard uses a very strong specially researched and designed high-end cardboard casing along with specially created optical glass with multiple special optical coatings and in-display backlight, that creates a perfect optical environment. You interact with it using a Bluetooth controller that is part of the package and many games/apps that come with it for both Android/iPhone. Use for casual 3D arcade games, 3D animation visualizations of 3D models, combining physical + animation (mixed reality), 3D photo visualizations, for fun, entertainment, education, marketing activities. We have our own 3D games and you can also build your own 3D games, 3D content using our apps from our store on our website. HOLOFIL-cardboard falls into the realm of Augmented Reality displays. It works with your smartphone as the main display and processing unit. A core focus is on 3D gaming and 3D model visualizations. We have recreated many classic arcade games like Snake, Tetris, Pac-Man, Ping pong for both iOS and Android that you can install on your smartphone to play with HOLOFIL. Install these games on your mobile, connect mobile to our gamepad controller via Bluetooth, place mobile in the top part of the device and start playing. We will be releasing more games/apps. Similarly, play 3D animations in mp4 video format in a media player on mobile, and the device will project the animations as a hologram illusion. HOLOFIL Cardboard enables incredible visual engagement and takes mobile engagement to the next level. If you are a 3D artist, you can create your own content or use our 3D content creation apps to create simple 3D animations to use with or play with our 3D games. A big attraction is mixed reality, where you can combine physical objects with virtual content to create amazing experiences. The fish/butterflies in the photos are animations while the leaves are real. Use it for marketing on your social media channels of your small products. The device weighs only 400 grams, comes with a micro-USB rechargeable Bluetooth game controller (many days of charge), rechargeable LED backlight (3hrs and at least 400 charging cycles), comes in a compact letterbox packaging that you have to assemble with simple DIY instructions. The housing is made of black cardboard and the glass is a special optical glass. You can place any mobile (iOS/Android) up to 171 cm. A big focus is also to boost 3D design thinking for kids and our website also has a lot of material and demos. The goal is to introduce children to free web-based 3D design software such as Autodesk TinkerCAD (search) that allows free 3D model creation and export, and use these 3D models in HOLOFIL to visualize to get motivated to learn 3D. Learn more advanced free software like Blender to learn 3D design and animations and further visualize them in HOLOFIL. Learn basic game programming in game engine software like Unity and create simple fun games for HOLOFIL to introduce them to the world of 3D and spark their interest in more complex 3D design and programming aspects later on. We've also released a small sample frame of reference for games to help students learn 3D game programming in Unity.
