Almost everyone is deficient in vitamin K, according to researchers. This important vitamin plays a vital role in the health of our blood. Vitamin K is made up of several compounds, the two most important being K1 and K2. One of the best sources of K2 is found in an ancient Japanese food called natto. Sometimes eaten for breakfast, natto is made from chickpeas or soybeans fermented with the microbe Bacillus subtilis. You might think of the natto bean dish as the Japanese version of marmite: some people love it, some hate it.

While you won’t get the same taste experience from our vitamin as you will from a fresh bowl of beany natto, we can provide you with a highly biologically active form of vitamin K2 that is 10 times more efficiently absorbed than vitamin K1 from spinach.
